Terms of Use

These terms apply to the Lesto app. They supplement Apple’s standard license agreement for apps, which governs the download and licensing of the app. By using Lesto, you accept them. This is an English translation for convenience; if it differs from the French version, the French version prevails.

1. The app

Lesto helps you track your strength training workouts, your diet, your supplements, and your measurements. It is published by being completed. It works without an account; your data is stored on your iPhone (see the privacy policy).

2. Free version and Lesto Premium

The free version lets you log everything, with no time limit and no ads. Lesto Premium adds features described in the app before any purchase: AI coach, program generator, meal photo analysis, meal suggestions and meal plans, advanced analytics, customization. One workout review from the coach is offered free to users of the free version.

3. Subscription

• Premium is a monthly or annual subscription, purchased in the App Store and paid through your Apple account. The price, including all taxes, and the duration are displayed before purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically at the same price, for the same duration, unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple account is charged within the 24 hours preceding the renewal.
• You manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple account settings (Settings › your name › Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.
• If a free trial is offered, it applies only once per Apple account; unless canceled before it ends, the paid subscription starts automatically. The date of the first charge is displayed before you confirm.
• Refunds are handled by Apple, under its terms (reportaproblem.apple.com).
• If your subscription ends, you keep all your data, along with the ability to view and export it; only the Premium features are turned off.

4. The AI coach and photo analysis

• The coach and photo analysis rely on artificial intelligence models. Their answers may be incomplete or inaccurate: check what they suggest. Nothing is added to your log without your confirmation.
• These features require a connection and your prior consent; they are subject to reasonable usage limits (for example, twenty photo analyses per day) to keep the service available to everyone.
• You agree not to use them to obtain content that is unlawful, dangerous, or unrelated to training and nutrition, nor to attempt to get around their limits.
• We may change the models and features to improve the service, without reducing what is described at the time of your purchase during the paid period.

5. Health: not medical advice

Lesto is not a medical device. The nutrition targets, supplement doses, estimates, programs, and coach answers are general and for information only: they do not replace the advice of a doctor or health professional. Seek medical advice before starting a program if you have a health condition, an injury, are undergoing treatment, or are pregnant. Stop exercising if you feel pain. The weights you lift and what you consume remain your decision.

6. Your data

You remain the owner of everything you enter. Since your data is on your iPhone, you are responsible for backing it up: Lesto makes a backup every day on your phone and lets you export a full copy at any time. If you delete the app, its data is deleted with it.

8. Intellectual property

The app, its name, its logo, its text, its visuals, its 3D animations, and its code are protected. They are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use, under Apple’s license; any reproduction or extraction outside this use is prohibited without written permission.

9. Liability

We do our best to make Lesto work well and keep its content accurate, but we cannot guarantee that it will be free of errors or interruptions, particularly those of third-party services (Apple, Open Food Facts, AI providers). To the extent permitted by law, our liability does not cover damage resulting from use contrary to these terms or to the app’s safety advice. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer.

10. Changes

We may change these terms, for example when a feature changes. The date at the top of the page is then updated, and a significant change is announced in the app before it takes effect.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. If there is a problem, please write to us first at contact@getlesto.app: we will look for a solution. If that does not work, you can use the consumer mediator free of charge: being completed. Failing agreement, the competent courts are those provided for by law.
